Thank
you to all of our bengal owners who have taken time to stay
in touch! We are pleased that most of our owners keep us
updated and send wonderful photos (like the ones on this
page) of their Adventure Beach Babies.
DO YOU SHIP
YOUR KITTENS?

We ship worldwide ...but not the way beautiful LOLA is
demonstrating in the this photo!

We use an
air conditioned /heated counter to counter service with several major
airlines...

so they
arrive safely to their homes just like Dylan's new best friend.
DO BENGALS REALLY
LIKE WATER?

"TIGGER
loves the water," her owner
writes. We think this photo says it all!

TIGGER with her sister
TONI playing with the
water hose. Their owner writes "Toni and Tigger are simply the
best. They are loving, friendly and enjoy our company. They are
curious, zany and find the strangest things to play with."

TANK is such a joy!!!
We absolutely adore him and he fits right in with our family. He greets
us when we come home and he stays around us at all times, except when
the kids finally tire him out and he takes to the top bunk (his bed) for
a cap nap! In the morning, when he hears my husband turning on the
shower he comes into our room and jumps on the bed and wants to play. He
is truly not scared of anything and very interactive with our family. In
fact, Thursday night Heather took a bubble bath and
TANK jumped in with
her and was playing in the bubbles!!! It was hysterical!!!!

KENYA enjoys a dip in
the pool.

Zuri
and
Jengo
enjoying the tub!

TUSCANY has found some
new entertainment.

Chasing the toy
fish at the pool!

TANK on his tank.

JENGO enjoying his tank.
This huge
aquarium is a bengal dream come true! What a lovely gift from
Kulo's
owner!
CONGO takes a quick drink as
a baby .
His owner writes,
"Here is the latest picture of
CONGO.
He has turned out exactly the way we expected him too. He has been a
wonderful addition to our family and we feel we have been truly blessed.
He has become quite the fetching cat.... I couldn't believe it when he
first stated retrieving; I thought he was a bit peculiar. Last week he
came on our bed in the middle of the night wanting to fetch; so my
husband played the game with him until he wore out. He finds himself
making the rounds in the evening finding just the right companion. It's
become quite the battle amongst the family members of who gets him for
the evening.
He has also become quite the playmate with our Shih Tzu Cocoa. Every
morning and evening it's playtime... They go round and round until
finally one of them becomes exhausted. We haven't seen our dog be so
active in awhile; it's great to see her full of spunk.
Congo's coat is just amazing with the perfect spots and red fleck/sheen
to it. He's truly everything and that much more.

DO
BENGALS
GET ALONG WITH OTHER PETS?

TUSCANY'S
owner writes "Well, here we are at the keyboard, I mean myself,
TUSCANY,
Kali and Largo. They have all become fast friends. Tuscany has adapted
much better than we could have expected. She claimed the bathroom as her
kingdom. After a few well timed hisses, she had the pups under her
spell. The three of them have been running around the house, grooming
each other and vying for attention. She is the perfect addition to our
family.
Compliments to you and your family for raising such a sweet, loving,
intelligent Kitty Kat. Not to mention she gets more stunning by the
minute. "
Well...what can
you say about this photo! There are two bengals...can you find them?
Hint: One is spotted and the other is a snow marble.

One picture is
worth a thousand words.... we love this one of
BAMBOO
and ALASKA!

JASPER and new best friend.

LADY checking out her new family member
KOA (brown spotted) who joins
JENGO (brown marble) and
KUMO (seal mink spotted). It is hard to
have just one!

KULO and his new best friend
Smooch get to know each other in his new home.
KULO'S
owner writes, "I am having so much fun with this little guy! He is an
absolute sweetheart. His interactions with my other three boys are just
too cute for words sometimes. It is more like he has three Mom cats,
rather then three brothers. All my other guys must think he is their
little toy baby. They just love him.

So many times through out the day
things take place that I wish someone were here to witness besides me.
Debbie, what a precious animal you sent me! He really does have a
wonderful personality. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for bringing
such a wonderful creature into my life."
KARMA's owner writes, "Here is our precious
baby Karma with her big brother Chewbacca. They love each other. They
play together, drink together and even sleep together...........with us
on our bed!
Karma fits right in with us and we all love and adore her.
P.S. I forgot to tell you when we picked
Karma
up at the vets they told us there was a problem. They said Karma's
surgery went fine but you can't have her back. They said they all loved
her, esp. one of the vets wanted her! She was a definite hit there as
she is with us. Thanks again!

SPEEDY gets along with all of his
new friends...as long as he can be center of attention!

Jim
Jupiter went home with his family and a few months later
they saw
Mr. BoJangles on our web site. They decided that he should
be part of the family too. His owner writes, "Jim is our pretend show
cat.. he likes to get groomed and be held up like a show cat.. We even
pull out his tail a bit (making it straight like they do on Animal
Planets' Cat Shows) and look at his teeth... he absolutely loves it.
Jim's spots (rosettes I think they are called) keep changing too. A few
look like he will get color on the inside . I can see the little bits of
creamy fur starting to happen. I am in love with a cat!"

"Bo is the opposite!. But it is too cute how they compliment each
other. They spend a good part of the day running around after each
other, and the other parts eating and sleeping. They share everything,
and sometimes I find them in the litter box together, in one bed
squeezed in, and both heads in a bowl trying to get a bite to eat!
"Bo has the
most incredible color fur.. and such the personality!"

WHAT IS THE GRAY FUZZY STAGE?

BEFORE: MOJO spends time with his new friend
Orion the Maine Coon Cat. He was in his fuzzy gray stage when he first
joined his new family in the first photo. Bengal kitten go through a
strange long haired "camouflage" stage (think baby cheetah) for several
months before their coats get sleek and clear again.
AFTER:
Look at
MOJO now! His owner writes, "Isn't he gorgeous. We are so happy
with him...even more beautiful is his personality. He is extremely
affectionate and playful. He loves to play fetch. He is a blast to
have,,,a real joy to have."

SHENNA'S owner is professional boxer
Laila Ali. When she first took Shenna home she was in her gray fuzzy
stage. A few months later Shenna turned to her adult honey color.

KULO'S owner writes, "His color is
definitely changing. You can see more gold in the background and his
spots seem to be getting clearer. I wouldn't care if he turned sky blue
pink now though, I would never give him up."
DO
BENGALS
GET ALONG WITH CHILDREN?

BELLA and her new friend
Coleman! Her owner writes: "Coleman had a cold and was up crying around
11:00 pm one night. After we put him back to sleep we went back to
watching a movie. Later I went back to check on him and there was
BELLA
in the bed, laying under Coleman's feet under the blanket. It was
adorable. I think she sensed he was sick and wanted to be with him. I
just thought it was so sweet seeing her in there with him, sound
asleep".

Just like
BELLA
and Coleman, all children and pets need to be supervised for the safety
of everyone... but a well socialized bengal makes a loving family pet.

LEO
and his boys!
|
After such a long wait
for a REAL bengal it is great to have LEO home!

LEO'S
owner writes, " I have to tell you. We love Leo SO MUCH. He is
just the greatest! He really is my little buddy. Its funny...you
don't realize you have a void in your life sometimes until it is
filled. He makes me so happy and I want you to know how much I
appreciate all you did and do with LEO
and all the cats. You are awesome. I hope you keep count of the
number of people whose life you make better with these little
angels! THANK YOU!

Beautiful
CALI
and her beautiful new owners check out some kitty toys.

TANK playing in the doll
house and in the doll carriage (with the help of his young owner).
His owner writes
"Anyhow, Ryan had the jump rope and was running through the house,
Heather right behind him trying to get it back and TANK was in hot pursuit!! Finally Heather
caught up with Ryan and they started a tug of war in the middle of the
playroom and
TANK didn't want to miss
anything so he chose the middle of the rope as his and was holding on
for dear life trying to get both kids to let go!!! Bob and I were
laughing so hard we were crying! That is just one of many wonderful
stories about TANK.
He has absolutely NO FEAR!! Last weekend my niece had her family 8 year
old birthday party. We did the cake and candles and sang Happy Birthday
(complete with toy clappers) in our kitchen and TANK
was right among everyone!!

SHOULD
BENGALS
STAY INDOORS?
SAFARI and
ATHENA'S
owner writes, "Debbie, they are both beautiful!!!! And their
personalities are even more beautiful!!! You and your family have done a
fabulous job socializing them. Thank you.
Oh, I included the
picture of them looking out the storm door. That is their favorite place
to sit on sunny days. They can watch birds and squirrels and "another
world" as well as lay in the sun. They have not tried to go out, though.
They cannot because it is too dangerous. As long as we don't let them
taste that world, they should be satisfied to stay inside. "

COCONUT'S
owner writes, "I wanted to give you an update on Angel. She is such a
sweetheart!! And we absolutely love her!! We decided to name her
Coconut- Coco for short. She slept on our pillow all last night and she
didn't wake up till we got up this morning.
She is the
sweetest most loving cat anyone could ever want and we truly love her so
much. I have never had a cat who snuggles so close. At night if you move
a little bit she moves closer to you. She is such a loving cat. I just
cant tell you how amazing she is. Are most
bengals
that loving? Is that one of their traits? Honestly she is the most
amazing cat. All day long I miss her and wish she could come to work
with me and I know Ian feels the same way.
You did a great job with her!!
All I can say is COCO
is going to spend her wonderful life as a playful and happy house cat!
TIGGER
takes a nap after lunch and wonders where else a bengal would live but
safely indoors with his family!

KENYA
lives indoors but doesn't get left
behind when his owners go bike riding!
CAN BENGALS LEARN TO WALK ON A LEASH?

Jim's
owner writes, "They really love the leash, as you can see here - JIM
pulls them out to let us know when its time for a walk...
JIM
has admirers: the mail man, plumber, landlord, neighbors, passers by
when we are walking, and I have even had a car stop and ask me what kind
of cat he is, and not to mention all the ladies that come over!!! What's
more fantastic is his personality! I could hold him and walk around all
day and he would be perfectly happy! He is such a lover, sweet, kind,
says m'Hello when you come home, and meows you good-by when you leave.
He follows me around the house, and we really do everything together!"
Kal-El likes to explore the
playground!
KAL-EL'S owner writes, "His
second name is "Wild Thing" -- especially when he opens his mouth,
sometimes he's just like a lion. He's beautiful. You did SUCH a great
job with him. He is more beautiful than the pictures portrayed, Debbie.
Just a gorgeous creature! And that face! You can see the lion inside
him.
He walks out on
his leash almost every evening in the front yard, where he's made
friends with all the neighbors! People who have never spoken to me once
in the 12 years I've lived here are coming over now. I haven't decided
if this is a good thing or not!
We go for drives to all the drive-thru spots, such as the dry-cleaners
(they LOVE him there), fast food places (Kentucky Fried is his personal
favorite), etc.
He is, like you said, fearless, and no matter who comes over, no one is
a stranger to him. He even met his first Houston dog the other night;
and just walked over, said hello, and walked away.

BAMBOO'S owner writes, "He
is so much fun. I have trained him to go out with
me twice a day for about 15 minutes on a harness, he does really well
with it.
He is growing in leaps and bounds. Everyday he seems like he's grown
another inch. He has a super personality. His markings are beautiful.

WILL MY BENGAL BE POTTY TRAINED?

Not as well as
LOLA (no more carrying in heavy litter bags
for her family). Her owners have trained her to use the toilet... no
kidding! Now the big question, will she be able to teach her new bengal
brother who will be arriving soon from Adventure Beach?
Like all of our kittens, he will know how to use his covered litter box
by the time he travels home... but we will be waiting to see if he
masters "potty training" as well as his big sister.
HOW
LONG DOES TAKE TO ADJUST TO A NEW HOME?

Photos of
CONGO
enjoying his first day with his new family. His owner writes, "Wonderful
page photos do make the best explanations don't they :).
Congo
is so funny in those pictures, he looks like he is smiling :). So many
pretty kittens on that page you can really tell from looking over it
that your kittens truly are socialized, very friendly, and well loved
from day one. My mom's first Persian wouldn't come out during the day
for 2 weeks after she got her. Congo was out after 2 hours and that says
a lot."

"BILLY
BOJANGLES is doing great. As
you can see from the photo, he and
AUGUST WEST are getting along
great", his owner writes.
BILLY BO lives across the country from his
sibling CONGO
(above) but is happy with his new best friend!

DILLANGER... a beautiful marble boy who lives and travels
the country on board his owner's big truck. Honk if you see him on
the road!
Home is where the heart is.
HI DEBBIE
I JUST WANTED TO SAY HELLO AND TO LET YOU KNOW ABOUT
DILLANGER. I HAVE
OWNEDA LOT OF PETS IN MY LIFE, BUT NEVER NOTHING LIKE DILLANGER. THE FIRST
DAY HE
DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME. I JUST TALKED TO HIM. THE NEXT DAY
HE CAMETO ME, WOULD NOT LET ME PICK HIM UP. THAT DIDN'T LAST LONG. NOW HE IS
ALL OVERME. HE EVEN SITS ON THE STEERING WHEEL. WHEN I GO TO BED HE COMES TOCHECK ON ME, THEN HE LAYS DOWN AT MY HEAD. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO
THANK
YOU, I
REALLY NEEDED THIS....
THANKS AGAIN.

TUSCANY on
her first night in her new home. A new
Adventure Beach
baby has now been added to the family to help keep her busy.
DO
BENGALS
REALLY FETCH?
CHLOE'S owner writes: "She is doing
well...beautiful and feisty and sweet. She loves chasing toys around the
house and playing fetch with anything she can carry in her mouth. The
other day I found a stash of 7 (toy) mice she had hidden under a desk in
the utility room...too cute."

SPEEDY loves retrieving his rabbit. He also
enjoys watching CNN while chasing the words going across the television
screen (see below).

DO ALL BENGALS
HAVE SPOTTED BELLIES?

"CHLOE
is gorgeous and doing really well" her owner writes. "She is getting
along with Emmaline and Marley and getting plenty of exercise with
them." And look at that spotted tummy!

STAR has a nice spotted tummy too. All
bengals
should have a spotted tummy!

ONE BENGAL OR TWO?
SAFARI AND
ATHENA'S owner
writes, "There is so much more to tell you about the babies!!! Like
Safari has glitter galore but you can't see that in the pictures. Athena
"almost" does but the hairs are more clear than gold. Athena is the
acrobat and has been know to flip 3 feet in the air jumping for a toy.
Safari says "You can't outdo me" so he tries to do the same but his are
only about 2 feet. They make me laugh so much.
Athena is the most
loving. She comes to me in the office, jumps into my lap and just
"loves" on me rubbing her face under my neck and then settles down to
keep me from doing any work as long as she and I can get away with it.
Thank goodness most of what I do is watch computer screens all day! I
used to have a taste of pure heaven every day when BOTH of them would
get in my lap for a nap at the same time. I LOVED IT!!! Now they think
there isn't enough room for both, I guess, because when the second one
jumps up, the first one decides it's time to leave.

MEETING
FOR THE FIRST TIME!

LETTERS AND SOME FAVORITE PHOTOS
(with many more to add...thanks for your patience!)

ADVENTURE BEACH
KENYA finds plenty of things
to do "on the set" while he is waiting for his turn in front of the
camera.
His personal assistant (and owner) helps keep him busy and
happy.
Hi Debbie,
I just wanted to tell you how wonderful "Chloe" is. You were right - she
is soooo affectionate. She purrs the moment I walk in the room. She
especially loves to have her belly rubbed.
Chloe is also very playful. She plays with her toys constantly, while
she eats, drinks, scratches her post, and uses her litter box (she is
like me - she tries to do a hundred things at once)! She is improving
her "jumping up" ability and can climb quite well (I found her on the
dining room table the other day).
Every time someone new comes to see her, she has to "show off" - she
shows them everything she can do. She is quite entertaining .
Chloe is such a beautiful kitty. Her face looks just like her dad,
Oasis. I will have to send some pictures to you as soon as possible.
Thanks again, Debbie!
Debbie,
Yo-Yo
is fantastic. He is so sweet and loving. He does have a
great personality! We are all in love with him. I think he is going to
like it here.....He is very adventurous and can't wait to bolt out of
his little room.
He is more
beautiful than the pictures portrayed, Debbie. Just a gorgeous creature!
And that face! You can see the lion inside him.
Honcho
is amazing. He now retrieves "for hours on end"! I throw a furry little
toy mouse across the floor and he brings it back and puts it on my foot.
He seems very happy and we are very happy to have him. His glitter is
unbelievable. His legs are getting so long I believe he is going to be
one long cat. He retrieves a furry mouse without fail and puts it on my
foot. He is running so fast and jumping I can't believe him.
One last story. An emotional one. My little 30 month grandson came over
and I didn't know how HONCHO
and he would do. For about 3 hours they basically played and teased
other until both fell into a nap. At one point my grandson would stack
up some toys and then HONCHO
would knock them down. My grandson would have conversations with HONCHO
as if HONCHO
were a person! It was so funny I was almost in tears. HONCHO
really enjoys company.
He is constantly changing both in size and in color. Really fun to watch
him.
I'll be in
touch,
Debbie, I wanted
to let you know that things are going great with INDEE.
Here is a picture that Mary took of him the other day. He is
un-believably interactive! He is like a two year old that has to always
be on the move. He is certainly mischievous! And to say the least he is
entertaining and the center of attention. We love the fact that he is
so connected to our everyday routines. It really doesn't matter what we
are doing he has to be right there.
Debbie-
We are enjoying our new companions. We constantly amazed at their many
talents. They are social butterflies, wonderful athletes, and beautiful.
How can it get any better. We are all in love.
